Mwana Bermudes and Nelda Villines
Mwana Bermudes was born in Mozambique, spending most of his teenage years exploring the surrounding wilderness. From an early trophy hunter, he has developed into a keen naturalist and student of Mother Earth. Over the years, he has also worked in community and cultural development all over southern Africa, and as part of his program, he shares his photo, video and sound skills with the various people he meets along the way. People and the wilderness have become his main enjoyment, concern and spiritual inspiration in life.

Nelda Villines was born in the USA and came to Africa in 1995. During the past 11 years, she has visited nature reserves and parks all over southern Africa thus developing a deep affection for the African bush. She is also a keen wildlife photographer and assists Mwana with video filming and production. She goes to the bush often to refresh her spirit and do research on animal behaviour.

All images are original photographs taken by Mwana and Nelda in Lesotho, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique and Swaziland. Some of the artworks are digital creations from Mwana’s experiments with various multimedia software techniques. A percentage of the sales supports various wildlife and rural community development projects, since the main purpose of their work is to bring more awareness to the public of the importance of preserving the treasures of our Universe for future generations.
