| Justification: Tephrosia gobensis has a restricted distribution, with an estimated extent of occurrence of 137.260 km2 and an area of occupancy of 28 km2. Most of the population falls within a protected area, but there is still an ongoing threat to its habitat from overgrazing. Based on this, it has been assessed as Vulnerable, under Criteria B1 and B2. Date last seen: 2020 | |

| Population | |
|---|---|
| Population: | There is no detailed population survey information for this species. There are relatively recent records confirming its continued existence within Mlawula Nature Reserve and Mhlumeni community conservation area. For the purposes of this assessment, it has been assumed that this species still occurs in the localities from older records. |
