In January 2011, ten Swazi students began a four year professional homeopathic training course, in order to guarantee the sustainability of the initiative.

The students are aiming to complete a professional Diploma in Homeopathy and the courses are being run in collaboration with the College of Practical Homeopathy in London and the International Register of Consultant Herbalists and Homeopaths in the UK. They attend regular seminars and workshops and once a year a summer school is held with 3 homeopathy trainees from the Maun Homeopathy Project in Botswana and an additional student from Malawi. In December 2011 the workshop was presented by Jeremy Sherr from the Homeopathy for Health in Africa Project in Tanzania. This was a fantastic learning experience for everyone and the Swaziland Homeopathy project was privileged to host such an excellent teacher.

The student training also includes practical clinical skills, remedy making, and opportunities to participate in provings.
