Throughout 2017 SHP conducted workshop to introduce the use of herbal tinctures instead of water based decoctions, and to distribute trees for cultivation in homesteads. The following workshops involved the introduction of homeopathy and the use of the two new homeopathic remedies made from Warburgia salutaris and Siphonochilus aethiopicus. At these workshops the participants were given homeopathic 6C of both remedies and a guide to their use. The training team running these workshops was made up of an amazing group of people all part of the collaboration of Eswatini National Trust Commission with SHP.

Several other exceptional workshops were conducted with traditional medicinal practitioners (TMP's) from the Shewula and Mhlumeni communities hosted by the Mlawula Nature Reserve Environmental Centre adjacent to the nursery SHP has rehabilitated. Other workshops were held in Manzini and Mbabane.

In 2018 with further funding, thanks to sahee foundation, a third plant was requested by the TMP's and a third homeopathic remedy, Alepidia cordifolia, was proved. Unfortunately we have been unable to grow this last plant which is now highly endangered. The other 2 plants are stocked in our nursery and we distribute them to TMP's around the country.
